Brand identity guidelines, branding guidelines and/or your “Brand Playbook” (how I like to call it) is an in-depth booklet outlining the rules of how a brand should be used.
It should include the following:
⚡
brand’s typography (fonts)
different logo variations and how to use them (this includes the glorious white space around it, not flipping it or going rogue with a completely off-brand colour)
brand’s graphics, illustrations and/or patterns
the colour palette (including RGB and hex codes for digital usage, CMYK and Pantone for print)
any other relevant brand application to ensure the ultimate consistency!

This totally depends on the creative journey that we embark on and your appetite for something different. I absolutely thrive on throwing my creativity into each and every brand. It’s so important that at the end of the journey, I’ve created something truly aligned with your values and purpose.
The creative direction, moodboards and logo concepts take time because that’s where all the big thinking (magic making!) gets done. I want to allow for enough time for you to sit and reflect on how the branding works with your vision - this is the most important step in the process.
But can’t you put some rough timing on it? Well, ideally the process usually takes between 4-6 weeks from start to finish. This will really help you get the best from your brand. Also, time flies when you’re having fun! For the full breakdown of how it works click here.
I really LOVE when I can create a brand and then bring your digital space - your website to life with all of what we have created together. However, if you have already been through this process, I will definitely consider doing your branding for you, if you have professional photos.
The graphics that I design become just as much a part of your brand as your fonts, colours and logo. They are designed with meaning and purpose, so I want you to be able to use them in the best way possible!
Graphic elements can be used to bring out your brand personality in many different ways. This could be from website banners, social media tiles, gift box packaging, business cards and so much more. They are what make your branding instantly recognisable and memorable. Most of my clients come to me because this is the part I love most about creating brands - bringing them alive!
The easiest way to use them is to drop individual PNG (transparent background) images into Canva and place them in ways shown in the Brand Playbook.
Heck yes! Of course, I do love colour… But I think what sets me apart is my ability to adapt and change to suit the project. Check out my portfolio page here and you will see that not all of my work is 50 shades of rainbow! ;-)
Unfortunately, in short, the answer is no. My core offering is branding, and a logo is only a very small part of that - so I would be doing myself a disservice if I only offered a small piece of the puzzle. All of my clients have received the Brand Playbook which includes everything you need to hit the ground running.
Read some testimonials here from happy clients.
My favourites are the three S’s! Squarespace, Showit and Shopify. I am a proud Squarespace Circle Designer and a Shopify Partner.
⚡
Squarespace is great for service based businesses - like coaches, bloggers etc
Shopify is great for eccommerce businesses - online shops big and small
Showit is great for fully custom designed websites when you are wanting something truly outside of the box

My Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design included User Experience (UX) and Strategy. This is where I can use my expertise to help optimise your website to make it more user-friendly, engaging and accessible for your customers.
I have a process where I either take your existing content and turn my strategic brain on it, or I can design a wireframe with you where we nut out what your ideal customer should see first. We want to take them on a journey so this part is key to your website’s success.
You betcha! :) All of the websites I design are optimised to give your customers the best experience on both mobile and desktop computer.
I really LOVE it when I can work my magic on both your branding and website - it makes for a whole WOWZER of an experience for your brand. However, if you have already been through this process with someone else, I will definitely consider doing your website for you. This is provided that you have branding guidelines, assets, copywriting and professional photos already available. If you need help finding a photographer or copywriter? Step this way!
I am a bit of a nerd when it comes to SEO! I like to know all the things!
When I design your website pages, I ensure that they are optimised for SEO using relevant keyword optimised title tags, meta descriptions, alt image tags, headings and correct image names. Whilst I have some know-how - SEO is a wild beast and I highly recommend going the extra mile with getting it done professionally. I always use Techno Bird (click here to go see her!) and always implement the plan for you free of charge. There’s no point in having a gorgeous website that no one can find on Google - am i-right?
This always depends on a few things but usually about 6 weeks.
Before we begin I do have a little checklist of things which I need you to bring to the party:
Copywriting for the website (either done by yourself or professionally - I recommend outsourcing this part! I know some great writers if you need help - just ask)
Images - professional or stock photos, but either way they need to be great quality - no one likes a blurry image! (check out unsplash.com or pexels.com)
Your Website Grand Plan filled out (this will get sent to you as part of my process!)
Turn around times need to be flexible to accommodate a number of things (on your end and mine). If you have a deadline such as a launch date that you need to work towards, please let me know in your booking email or on our phone chat and I will let you know if it’s possible!
Ok so you’ve had a good snoop of my insta, you feel we’re a match made in heaven and are SO ready to chat about an upcoming branding or website project then give me a call or drop me an email. For all transparency, I am usually booked out a few months in advance and I would be shattered to miss out on the opportunity to work with you. So please get in touch soon… My full process is listed here.
Nothing makes me happier than knowing you are confident to take the reins when you need to make changes to your website. It might be to update your hero banner for an upcoming sale or write a blog post.
Upon finishing your website, I then create a video run-through for you - this is all yours and will become something you can look back on for reference. If you get stuck, you’ll know where to find me - I’m always happy to help. :)
I’d love to be your go-to maintenance gal on your shiny new website!
Because I designed it, I’ll also be much quicker than outsourcing someone else who has to learn the ropes. You can book me in for studio half days or a full day which can be used for site edits, maintenance, updates, image changes, blog posts, launches, new product uploads - you name it! Click here to book it in.
Just as an FYI, these spaces are really limited - purely because I’m super busy with bigger projects like branding and websites.
Well of course you could! We essentially can DIY anything - but you probably wouldn’t cut your own hair, would you? ;-) Like with most things in life, you get what you pay for! Web design is an investment in your business - which I understand can be a big one.
Your business’ website is your online home. It’s not enough for it to just look pretty. It needs to be welcoming, intuitive and easy to navigate. The websites I create are thoughtfully made, user-friendly, purpose-driven and SEO ready while being the perfect reflection of your brand and brand values. Web design is a tricky business, it's a very timely process and the cost is about the investment of having an expert in your corner.
Branding projects/website designs are broken up into two payments:
50% upfront (this is required to hold your place)
50% on completion (before I hand over your goodies).
Alternatively, I can set up a payment plan of 4 x 25% payments.
If you want to discuss any concerns or want a more custom payment plan, I’d be happy to have a chat about this.
Usually, two rounds of revisions after the initial round is presented is ample. That being said, not all projects are the same, as things can change. I’m always happy to have a Zoom chat to go through everything with you. This will help make sure that I absolutely nail it in the final revision. If more revisions are required, they’ll be at an additional cost of $250 per round.
As you can see from my work, I do have a unique, vibrant style that a lot of my clients get attracted to but that doesn’t mean I can’t offer something completely different depending on your brand’s appetite. If we ‘get’ each other then rest assured, I’ll put my heart, skill and passion into your brand no matter what.
I want nothing more than to be your champion, to support you to achieve big things in business and feel like their design, brand and website “feel” exactly like they wanted it to.
An amazing brand identity is an investment, and if you’re in the early stages then unfortunately we may not be the best fit. I say this because working with businesses who have already nutted out their clarity, knowing exactly who their target customer is gives me the best opportunity to create something that aligns perfectly. If you are just starting out, we can still be pals! I would love to help you go in the “right” way to finding out who you are and what your brand stands for - we all started there at some point right? If I feel that you’re not quite ready for the full Brand Playbook just yet, I’ll let you know.
I’m a one-gal show and tend to book out at a minimum of 3 months in advance. I will always be upfront and honest in our initial chats about when the likelihood of beginning our project will be. I promise I’m worth waiting for, honestly!
I like to include a cosy buffer time as well, to ensure we can both make deadlines. If you’ve needing a particularly tight turnaround, I’ll do what I can to make it happen but rush fees may apply because as I mentioned - I am usually tightly booked.
